Classic Basement Finds: The Ghetto Blaster

I have a young co-host. I never thought I would be the old guy. Here we are.

I asked Maitlynn a while back if she knew what a Ghetto Blaster was. She thought it was a racial thing. I don't think I ever explained to her what it was but a Ghetto Blaster is a how you blast the ghetto... with your favorite music.

I was going through my basement this weekend because, I know how to party during COIVD... and I came across this classic bastard!

I know the picture is a little blurry it's because the machine still rocks! It's a dual cassette player WITH AM/FM radio.

There was a cassette still in the player too. Guesses at what it was? It was my wife's and she guessed it was "White Lion".

The next question was... Did the tape still play after being in my basement for nearly 14 years?

Hell no, tape quality was terrible and that is why they are gone.

The FM still played and now the blaster is rocking my shed.
