I almost hate to post this, but I guess I have to blog about something.

Do you remember when 100,000 miles was the kiss of death for an automobile? My dad would never let me buy a car unless it had under 60,000 miles on it. No matter if the seller claimed that they were all "highway miles", there was no chance.

Today, our lifestyles are different. Running the kids to soccer practice or taking the whole tribe cross country in the family truckster, we put more miles on our vehicles. So what is your level for tolerance when owning a vehicle?

My 1996 GMC Sierra 4x4 has over 300,0000 miles and it sill goes (fingers crossed). Little things go wrong, sure, but it still gets me from point A to B and all others in between.
