Cross-Country Skiing in Grand Ledge

This pic is from a two winters ago in Grand Ledge's Fitzgerald Park.  Pretty sure it was February and we'd just woken up on a Saturday to a fresh snow, so we headed out to the park and rented cross country skis.  First time I'd ever gone and I loved it!

I keep telling myself to make the best of the winter wonderland that surrounds us -- no matter the season, it's always beautiful here in Michigan.
