Delta River Drive In Lansing To Close Until August For Reconstruction

According to a report from WILX.com, a major reconstruction project of one of Lansing's major residential traffic arteries will close the roadway, beginning Monday.

WILX cites a press release from the City Of Lansing Public Service Department, warning the public of the pending closure of Delta River Drive on the city's northwest side.

According to the report, sewers will be repaired and replaced, existing pavement will be ripped up and replaced, and curbs will be upgraded on Delta River Drive between Waverly Road and Grand River Avenue. Traffic will be detoured using Waverly Road and Grand River Avenue.

WILX says that the project will extend into mid-August, according to the public service department.
