Did Urban Meyer Cover Up Major Crimes?

In a report today from Yahoo Sports, this week's issue of Rolling Stone magazine will feature an article suggesting that Ohio State Football Coach Urban Meyer helped to cover up major crimes during his tenure at The University of Florida. Rolling Stone's major focus of the story surrounds convicted murderer and former Florida Gator Tight End Aaron Hernandez, one of Meyer's former players and prized recruits.

Yahoo's story features an excerpt of the Rolling Stone story, set to hit newsstands Friday. That excerpt suggests that Meyer helped cover up failed drug tests, an assault, and a drive-by shooting.

Accusations about Meyer and his handling of Hernandez during their days in Gainesville have been bantered back and forth since Hernandez's murder conviction, but, no hard evidence has ever confirmed the banter. That may change tomorrow.
