Does Having Snow Help The Holiday Spirit?

Having lived in Michigan my whole life and only spending one in a warmer climate (Texas) when I was a kid, I am used to snow of some sort in December. Frankly, I can only remember a couple with little or no accumulation.

Fully aware and in agreement with the true spirit of Christmas, I find it a little difficult to get into the festive mode without snow. Sure I am looking forward to gathering with family and friends, but I think with a little snow, motivation comes a little easier. Either way, I will soldier on an prepare for the festivities as we celebrate!

Freudian theories aside, am I the only one that feel like this?
