The Northern Lights COULD be REALLY visible if you are heading up North this weekend... And who will be heading up North Labor Day weekend? EVERYONE! They even close the bridge for the Labor Day walk 6:30 am until noon. So, don't even try crossing the Mighty Mac then.

Even us trolls who stayed home may be able to see them, if you are in a dark clear area and have a powerful telescope. But Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula could be getting a light show on Saturday night into Sunday morning if the skies remain clear.

According to the story,

Aurora's happen when solar wind particles interact with earth's magnetosphere, then collide with other particles in the atmosphere and release energy to create the dazzling color display we know as the northern lights.
