Sir Elton John is embarking on his final tour, and one of the stops will be at Comerica Park in Detroit. You won't want to miss this show!

Below we've included some fun facts about Elton from his website to get you excited for the show.

Elton has sold over 300 million records and has the record for best-selling single ever with Candle in The Wind 1997. That single alone sold more than 33 million copies.

Elton cranked out the hits year after year with more than 50 top 40 hits. He's also got 1 diamond, 40 platinum/multi-platinum, and 23 gold albums. He started touring in 1970 and since then, he's traveled to 80 countries to perform more than 4,000 shows.

In addition to all of that, Elton is also the most successful solo male ever in the American charts. Overall, he's number three behind Madonna (a Michigan native!) and the Beatles.
