Acoustic Café is an annual music series held at the historic Howell Opera House that features outstanding Michigan performers, now celebrating its 12th year!
This year’s series continues with Jackie Davidson and Gary Brandt, “Singing The Good Old Songs Again.”
Jackie & Gary love folk music – and it shows. They have put together an evening of entertainment that, in their words, “honors the rich tradition of American folk music.” And what an evening it is – a rousing concert of memories and sing-along fun that’s suited for all ages!
Folk music is in this talented duo’s blood – Jackie (Miller) Davidson was one of the original New Christy Minstrels, while Gary Brandt is a well seasoned singer-songwriter and balladeer who weaves rich tales of the Great Lakes and other legends into his songs. Together, Jackie and Gary are dynamite entertainment and not to be missed.
The Acoustic Café series runs every Friday night from January 3rd – March 6th. Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the show will begin at 7:30 pm. Open to the public, the cost is $12.00 at the door, $10.00 for Livingston Arts Council members. This season’s sponsors are Scully-Monroe Insurance Agency, First National Bank, and DTE Energy.
