The second annual Margarita Fest will kick off downtown Lansing’s festival season May 31 with food, music, dancing &all things tropical. The festival, presented by City Pulse and the Lansing Entertainment and Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA), takes place at downtown Lansing’s Riverfront Plaza. The event includes samples of some of the most unique signature margaritas from area bars and restaurants, live entertainment, Jammin’ DJs, yard game fun and more. In addition, an assortment of the regional food vendors will be setting up shop near the Lansing Center to deliver a taste of the city’s very best. Fest-goers are urged to again dress for the occasion, donning their wildest tropical garb to add fun atmosphere to the day. Thirteen bars and restaurants took part in the 2018 festival, and a total of 85 liters of tequila and 125 bags of ice were used.
