Statues, statues, statues, everywhere. This Detroit, Michigan home, which Zillow says is now off the market, is absolutely filled with statues.

Remember Driving Up North?

Does anyone else remember the house that was on US 23 in the Tawas area that had all kinds of statues in the front yard? They had all sorts of cartoon characters like Sponge Bob, Scooby-Doo, Garfield, Bart and Lisa Simpson, Mickey Mouse, and others. It was a cool display, and when our boys were young we stopped numerous times to take pictures of the kids with the characters. (Unfortunately, those statues just disappeared one day.)

This house is nothing like that ...

There are hundreds of the gaudiest statues you've ever seen, all proudly displayed in every room of this three-bedroom, four-bathroom abode. Zillow describes it as a "property that's too unique for a proper description." Well, that's one way to put it.

And I can't wait for you to see the kitchen.

Facebook Nails It

The Facebook comments on Zillow Gone Wild are a hoot:

From Danielle:  This is what happens when you tell someone that you “just love” the terrible Christmas present they gave you. You get the same thing for the next 75 years. And since they visit three times a year, you can’t throw any of those damn statues out.

From Amy:  I must have missed this Very Special Episode of the Brady Bunch where Elton John comes to stay with them.

From Jonathan:  If Liberace and the city couple from Beetlejuice designed a home together.

From Rachel:  This house is so "Detroit."

That says it all.
