FCA Announces Major Recall on Ram Trucks

WLNS.com is reporting that Fiat Chrysler is issuing a major recall for some 300,000 Ram pickup trucks.

The recall is due to rusting fuel tank straps that could cause the fuel tank to sag. The recall is for 2009-2012 Ram 1500 models.

FCA says it has no reports of crashes, fires, leaks, or injuries because of the defect. Owners will be notified by the company as to where and when they can have their vehicle serviced.
