WLNS.com reports five people injured in a Lansing auto crash involving a CATA bus Thursday evening. The report says a pickup truck, driven by a 16-year-old male, ran through a stoplight and the intersection of Pennsylvania and Oakland Avenues. The truck hit the broadside of the bus, forcing it into multiple parked cars.

The truck's driver and his 16-year-old passenger were both hospitalized, while the bus driver and two passengers were also injured. None of the injuries are considered life threatening.

According to Nixle reports, the intersection was closed for more than four hours.
