Everyone Knows Your Name: Friendliest Bars in Lansing
Before I start this, let's be clear, I am a non drinker now in my life. I'm 5+ years sober. When it comes to friendly bars, I will share some of my favorite, friendly bars with you. I am also at a point in my recovery that if I want to get a burger at Dag's, I can without the temptation to drink. That said, if you are in recovery, you know yourself best. Do the right thing for YOU.
Back in the day I used to go to Champions on Cedar St. a lot. Frank's Press box used to be on Cedar St. just south of I96. These were fun bars. The staff was always fun and we had some good times. I also used to like Cascarelli's on Cedar St. and Leos Lodge on South Penn. Sadly these locations are long gone. There are plenty of friendly bars you can go to in Lansing.
Nowadays I'm all about the grub. I enjoy hanging with friends that enjoy the barley pops. One thing that draws me to your establishment is staff. I want to feel welcome at your business. I don't want to feel like I am a burden by being there.
The list of bars listed below have amazing staff and some have great food. Perhaps getting out and trying something new is right up your alley. Feeling welcome is important and these locations have never disappointed me. Regardless of food or not, these locations were always very kind to visit.
