As I was rockin' away in the studio this afternoon AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" hit the playlist. I somehow went into childhood flashback mode. I've heard the song hundreds of thousands of times since I figured out Bon Scott wasn't singing "Dirty Dean and the Thunder Chiefs." So, why today? I don't know...I guess to just to share with you.

I know I'm not the only one who has misheard lyrics...thank god for liner notes!!! What are some of your funniest misinterpretations? Here's a couple more to get you thinking...

"Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night..." - Manfred Mann's version of "Blinded By The Light." That's what the lyrics really say, there is no reference to feminine hygiene.

Elton John's "Rocket Man" wasn't actually "burnin' on the streets of heaven on..." He was actually "Burnin' out his fuse up here alone..."
