Getting Back Out To Hang Out With All Of You

One of the best parts of our job as broadcasters is being able to get out and go live out at fun locations with fun people and lately, we've been missing that.

It is safe to say COVID-19 and it's subsequent shutdowns and restrictions made it so many of us could not have the fun plans and social interactions we are all used to.

It meant businesses had to close their doors for a while (some forever) and we could not get out and have fun with all of you.

Joey always tells me awesome stories of when he is out broadcasting live and gets to meet the whole cast of characters that make up our WMMQ family. I have been itching to get out and experience that too and while I have gotten a taste, I just can't get enough!

I am absolutely a people person and love interacting with everyone and anyone and getting to know their stories. The few of you I have met, I can not wait to see again and if we have not officially met yet, I am so looking forward to it!

This weekend I finally get to get back out there and hang out with all of you, though things will be a bit different.

Of course, social distancing and mask requirements in our state will be followed but all of that doesn't matter if it means getting out and making new friends!

I will be broadcasting live from the Meridian Mall over by Dick's Sporting Goods from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and from the Lansing Mall by TJ Maxx from 2-4 again on Sunday.

Of course, we totally understand if you are not comfortable getting back out there but those of you that are, I am so excited and while it'll kill my poor, hugger heart we'll have to bump elbows this time.
