GM Recalls Some 240,000 Vehicles Over Potential Brake Issue
WILX.com reports that General Motors is recalling more than 240,000 vehicles in North America over a possible braking issue.
Models being recalled are from model years 2018 and 2019. Buick LaCrosse and Regal, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Bolt, Cruze, Equinox, Impala, Malibu, and Volt, and GMC Terrain models are all affected.
GM says that hydrogen gas may be trapped in the rear brake caliper pistons, causing brakes to feel soft. For the recall, dealers will simply bleed the brake lines to alleviate the issue.
