Gold Medalist Aly Raisman The Latest To Sue Michigan State University

The Lansing State Journal is reporting that Olympic gold medal gymnast Aly Raisman is the latest victim of Dr. Larry Nassar to notify Michigan State University of her intentions to sue the university.

According to the report, Raisman filed the required papers with the Michigan Court of Claims Friday. She also is suing USA Gymnastics and the US Olympic Committee. Raisman becomes one of the more than 250 people to have filed lawsuits against the entities over the sexual abuse Nassar was sentenced for last January in Ingham County. Raisman spoke during sentencing hearings then, and during Nassar's sentencing hearings in Eaton County in early February.
