Great New Burger Joint Open In Grand Rapids, Will You Take The Drive?

So if you were trapped on a desert island and you could only have 3 foods, what would they be?  For me, it would be pizza, cheeseburgers and fries, and a crispy chicken sandwich with mayo and cheese.

I mean after all,  if you never get rescued why bother with salads or something healthy, lol.  A good burger is a must for me and who does not like to mix it up with different burger joints in the Lansing area.  There are many here in the mitten.  I do confess I miss one of my favs, In-N-Out Burger from when I lived in Vegas.

Now Open in Grand Rapids

I have been to Wahlburgers many times in the Detroit area and it was really good, and it is now open at its first West Michigan location according to mlive.com  Find it on the first floor of the Marriott Residence Inn at 10 Ionia Ave. NW in downtown Grand Rapids.

The restaurant features burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, kids meals, starter and more, as well as a full-service bar offering cocktails, wine and beer. It has indoor 104 indoor seats and 68 outdoor seats, and features “an early settler’s map of the city from the 1800s adorned with keg tops as a nod to” Grand Rapids’ designation as “Beer City USA.

What To Try On The Menu

There are many great items on their vast menu and personally I really like their super melt, double-decker and the crispy chicken ranch sandwich is amazing, The fries and onion rings are also pretty darn good. Warning the bacon mac and cheese is very addicting.  Enjoy kids.
