Here Are The Tallest Buildings in Lansing
Lansing is a good size city that employees a lot of people. From the state government to the city of Lansing along with other businesses, a lot of people work in office buildings. The Lansing skyline is a cool site to see when you are downtown, or in my opinion, the best view is when you are on I-496.
Lansing not only has a lot of employees that work downtown, it also has a rich history of cool architecture. I spent a lot of time as a child visiting downtown Chicago. That is where I found my love for architecture, heights and high rises. It wasn't uncommon for my grandpa and I to take the train downtown to walk around and visit as many high rises as possible. Of course Sears Tower was my favorite, although it is called Willis Tower now, it will always be Sears Tower to me. If you haven't been there, check it out:
Willis (Sears) Tower is a 110-story, 1,451-foot skyscraper in the Loop community area of Chicago in Illinois, United States.
You won't find any buildings that tall anywhere in Michigan, let alone downtown Lansing. Downtown Lansing does have 4 buildings that are worth visiting if you can. When I moved to Lansing I lived downtown and loved it. It felt big city because of the tall buildings, maybe that's just the kid in me. Processwire and wikipedia provide some stats.
