Without question Aldi's is the best place to shop.  Quality products, lower prices than anyone else.  No million yellow tags to figure out how much one item cost.  Great staff- helpful and efficient.  We do 85-90% of our grocery shopping there.

I really enjoy shopping at this mart.  They have a great selection of Mediterranean dry goods like bulk #20 bags of rice, beans, nuts, spices, cookies (i love their tea biscuits), pita, baklava, a selection of black tea.  Their prices are really low.  I love buying spices here because they are so affordable.  They have whole and powdered cinnamon, seeds of coriander, cumin, cardamom, cloves, star anise, curry powder.

I've heard good things about their meat but never purchased any.  The employees are very friendly and helpful.

Sunset is a very convenient neighborhood store, within walking distance for many Lansing residents. Sunset has everything from beer, liquor, wine, soda and snacks to a large meat counter where they cut your meat by request. They also have a lot of groceries including fresh fruit and vegetables, which can be hard to come by in a neighborhood store. There is a decent selection of international foods as well. The owners are friendly and value their customers.
