Homeless Angels Find New Home After Eviction

The fate of the local activist group Homeless Angels was in flux after the owner of South Lansing's Magnusson Inn evicted those that had found shelter in its rooms. But, according to WLNS.com, this story looks like it will have a happy ending.

The group's founder, Mike Karl, has become co-owner of the Burkewood Inn on Lansing Road in Lansing Township. He will take the Homeless Angels to this site once code inspections are completed. With Karl a part of the ownership, he will be directly involved with any renovations and upkeep, preventing another situation unfolding like the one at the Magnusson.
