ICYMI: Lansing Lugnuts Announce 2022 Schedule

The Lansing Lugnuts announced their regular season schedule for the 2022 season on Monday.

The Lugnuts will begin their 26th season at Jackson Field against the Lake County Captains on April 8th. Their 66-game home schedule (as well as the 132 game regular season) comes to a close next September 11th versus the Dayton Dragons.

The Lugnuts have six games left in the 2021 season. They are 54-60 and will finish against the West Michigan Whitecaps this coming Sunday.

Lansing is completing their first season as the High-A affiliate of the Oakland A's. They have previously been affiliated with the Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, and the Toronto Blue Jays.

It is still unclear at this point as to if the Crosstown Showdown, the annual exhibition game between the Lugnuts and Michigan State University's baseball team, will be played next season.
