Ingham County Shelter Offers Free Adoptions To Veterans

WILX.com reports that Ingham County Anmial Control and Shelter is saying thanks to veterans this weekend for Veterans' Day.

All adoption fees will be waived for vets and active service members next week, Tuesday, November 13 through Saturday, November 17. (The shelter is closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day)

Military ID must be presented to take advantage of the free adoptions. And, as always, general shelter adoption protocol must be met.

According to the report, there are more than 60 cats available and more than 30 dogs available to adopt.
