Michigan Farmers Market Ranked Among Top 5 in Entire Country
It's almost farmers market season (though some are open year round)! While there are plenty of great ones where you can get fresh veggies, fruits, and more in Michigan - one is getting national attention for being among the top 5 in the U.S.
Hitting up farmers markets is one of my favorite summertime activities. I definitely am biased, but I think the Fulton Street Farmers Market in Grand Rapids is awesome!
A different Michigan farmers market is being honored by a national publication though. USA Today and 10Best sought to find the very best farmers markets in the country - which there are a lot to choose from!

As the farm-to-table movement continues to explode, there are currently more than 8,600 registered in the USDA Farmers Market Directory.
To narrow the field, a panel of experts chose the twenty top farmers markets in the U.S. and then it was put up to a public vote.
The Ann Arbor, Mich., Farmers Market has been voted the No. 5 farmers market in the U.S.!
Located at 315 Detroit St. in Ann Arbor, the market is open year round, 7am-3pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays May through December, and 8am-3pm Saturdays January through April.

The 105-year-old market features 125 vendors from Michigan.
In addition to seasonal fruit and vegetables, you'll find mushrooms, herbs, farm fresh eggs, pastured meat and poultry, flowers, plants, seedlings, honey, maple syrup, cheese, bread, jam, pickles, sauerkraut, hot sauce, pastries, prepared food, gluten-free and allergen-free baked goods, apple cider, coffee, tea, juice, mead, kombucha, candles, body care products, cards, jewelry, art, textiles, ceramics, cutting boards, gifts, and more!
