
West Michigan Air Show Voted No. 4 In The Nation
Did you know that the largest Fourth of July air show in the entire country is right here in West Michigan?
It was once again competing to be the best airshow in the nation in a USA Today 10best readers' poll. A panel of experts has chose 20 "high octane" air shows that let "aviation enthusiasts get up close to a variety of flying machines while watching stunt teams and pilots show off their skills high in the sky."

It's was then put up to a public vote to determine the top ten.
Battle Creek Field of Flight has been voted the No. 4 best air show in the country!
Battle Creek Field of Flight is an air show and balloon festival all rolled into one. It's five days long and spectators can enjoy shows of military and civilian aircraft, fireworks, a carnival, concerts, beer tents, and more.

The Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival is July 2 through 6, 2025 at the Battle Creek Executive Airport. Tickets go on sale soon.

A tentative schedule has been released.
July 2 is the air show kicks of with Kids Day sponsored by Meijer with a free gift pack for the first 800 kids. All vendors will be open including food like ribs, chicken, steak sandwiches, and ice cream. The Skerbeck Carnival with more than 20 rides will be going on. Check out the Hot Air Balloon Launch, the Great Scott Band, Hot-Air Balloon Illume, and fireworks.

Other events at Field of Flight include the Great Lakes Drone Show, US Air Force Thunderbirds Demonstration Team, US Army Golden Nights Parachute Team, Bob Carlton in Fox Jet Dual Powered Sailplane, Leland Kracher and Tom Braymer in their Christian Eagles, and more.
