Famous Detroit Lion Stops in West Michigan Bagel Shop
Even pro athletes enjoy a good bagel as one of the current Detroit Lions proved when he stopped by a West Michigan bagel shop over Labor Day Weekend.
Herman's Boy in Rockford
One day I was driving into work and wanted to surprise some co-workers with some bagels and Herman's Boy came up on my Google Maps. I'm no expert on bagels, coffee, or tea but when I pulled into the parking lot I felt this place would be good.
When I got inside Herman's Boy I quickly learned I was right about them being good at what they do. Just looking at the old wood shelves and bins from the original store was something I had not seen since being down south or seeing that old general store on the old TV show The Waltons.
The bagels I picked up were great and I grabbed a few homemade turtles and those were fantastic. Seeing all the coffee and tea choices I immediately thought of others to bring to Herman's Boy in Rockford.

Detroit Lion Stops in Herman's Boy Labor Day Weekend
No, it wasn't Detroit's head coach Dan Campbell who was in Herman's Boy over the weekend. I brought up Campbell because when my son and I were mountain biking over the weekend we went past a guy and I could have sworn it was Dan going the other way. Even my son said that guy looked like the Lions coach. This is why if you think you saw someone, you better make sure you are wrong or you may regret it. So when I heard a Lion was at Herman's Boy I had to find out which one.
It turned out to be defensive end Aiden Hutchinson who popped into Herman's Boy over the Labor Day weekend for lunch with friends and family. Herman's Boy posted a photo of a fan who grabbed a picture with Hutchinson and posted it on their Facebook page.
