Mammoth Distilling Coming to Grand Rapids

Mammoth Distilling first opened in Central Lake in 2016. It's since expanded to Traverse City, Bellaire, Bay Harbor, and Adrian.

Owners describe Mammoth Distilling as a "Farm distillery leading the rebirth of Rosen Rye" and a "Maker of Northern Spirits". In addition to Rye, the distillery makes gin, vodka, bourbon, cherry liqueur, and coffee liqueur.

Their tasting rooms serve hand crafted cocktails and tasting flights of the different spirits.

The new Grand Rapids location is Mammoth Distilling's sixth location. The bar is located in the Wealthy Street Corridor at 710 Wealthy St. SE.

Planning and construction has been ongoing at Mammoth Distilling on Wealthy Street since April - and now it's open!

Mammoth Distilling shared to Facebook Nov. 7,

Our newest tasting room is officially open in GR and we'd love for to you to stop in soon! For the next 3 weeks it will be a "soft open" with slightly fewer hours, a little smaller menu and some ongoing staff training, but with the same great cocktails and hospitality you've come to expect. Cheers to old friends and new beginnings!

The current hours through Nov. 26 are:

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday: 3:00-10:00
  • Wednesday: 3:00-11:00
  • Thursday: 3:00-12:00
  • Friday 3:00 - 12:00
  • Saturday: 3:00 - 12:00
  • Sunday: 3:00 -10:00
