New Netflix Documentary On Michigan Mom That Catfished, Bullied Daughter
If you read that headline and thought Surely that's an exaggeration, then buckle up because this story is a crazy one. A story so crazy that it is now the topic of a new Netflix documentary about a year-long investigation into a high school girl and her boyfriend, who received tens of thousands of text messages from unknown numbers, harassing them and making them question who they could trust for over two years.

As it turned out, the one person you should be able to trust more than anyone was the one sending these awful messages: the girl's mother, Kendra Licari, who has since been arrested and sentenced to jail for her actions.
Two Charges of Stalking A Minor
Since the news of this story broke back in 2022, it has captivated the public because of the complete 180 the investigation took. The investigation started as a mother cooperating and seemingly wanting to find answers to whoever was harassing her daughter and her boyfriend. However, once the FBI got involved, it turned into a shocking tale of how a mother could do something so traumatizing to two innocent kids, who were 14 at the time.

While Lifetime released a dramatized movie called Mommy Meanest, showing a dramatized version of events, this documentary will be the first to feature in-depth coverage, interviews with the victims, parents, attorneys, and even Kenda Licari herself, who is now roaming the streets on parole after serving a prison sentence for two counts of stalking a minor.
The documentary is available to watch on Netflix starting August 26th.
