One of music's most anticipated comebacks of the past year would be from Justin Timberlake. Between him reuniting the band (NSYNC) for the latest Trolls movie, to teasing songs with Nelly Fertado and Timbaland, we've been hoping he'd be releasing some solo material of his own.

Last week at a show in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, he live debuted a new song titled "Selfish", which just dropped officially yesterday.

Last night (Thursday, January 25th) he made an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show, obviously to promote his new single "Selfish". But what we didn't expect was for him to tease that a new tour was on the way. Here's the list of cities he plans to visit:

Thu May 02 – Seattle, WA – Climate Pledge Arena
Mon May 06 – San Jose, CA – SAP Center at San Jose
Fri May 10 – Las Vegas, NV – T-Mobile Aren
Tue May 14 – San Diego, CA – Pechanga Arena San Diego

Wed Jun 12 – Raleigh, NC – PNC Arena
Fri Jun 14 – Tampa, FL – Amalie Arena

Earlier this morning, the tour announcement dropped and if you were hoping JT would be making it to the mitten state, you're going to have to keep holding your breath. It turns out the former NSYNC member has snubbed us and isn't coming to Detroit.

He does have tour dates nearby in Chicago (June 21st) and Cleveland (July 7th) but for some reason he left Detroit off his long list. The tour routing seems pretty short as a whole, so I'm not sure if he plans to add more dates, or even better, go out with NSYNC later in the year, which of course he'd hopefully come to see us. But, if you're planning to see the man in the mirror himself, you'll have to take a road trip out of state.
