Experts Have Named Their Choice For The Best Dive Bar In Michigan
I'm the kind of person that can drink just about anywhere.
I'll grab a craft cocktail with friends which costs about $14-$16 for an old fashion which tastes amazing but makes me cry when the bill comes.
My favorite place to enjoy a cold one is at a dive bar
What Is A Dive Bar?
A dive bar to me is small and often has very low lighting
You're likely to find a bunch of familiar faces that come back time after time.
You don't have to dress to impress, just come as you are.
And the drinks are often served up strong.
BONUS POINTS... They have a free self-serve popcorn machine

I'm sure I'm missing some really good ones so please share with me your personal favorite so I can check it out sometime and share it with everyone.
I live in Grand Rapids and some of my favorite dive bars are
Bob's Bar - 725 Michigan Street SE
I love the look of the inside and the staff is very friendly. I love to grab a beer and enjoy a pierogi basket or some coney dogs.
Last year I was drinking some beers with my wife and brother-in-law and in walks Rapper Lil Dicky.
The Anchor Bar - 447 Bridge Street
One of the first bars I went to in Grand Rapids was the Anchor Bar on Bridge street.
Many nights I would stuff my sell with the free popcorn in the back by the bathrooms.
Steel Cat Bar - 640 Bridge Street Northwest
My brother-in-law Travis introduced me to Steel Cat and it's now one of my favorite places to go. The Bar staff is friendly and they also have a popcorn machine.
