A tragic motorcycle accident in Plainfield Township has claimed the life of 21-year-old Josh Vodry.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Plainfield Avenue and Mark Street.

According to the Kent County Sheriff's Office, Vodry was riding south on Plainfield Avenue when he collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn onto Mark Street.

Despite being transported to a nearby hospital, Vodry succumbed to his injuries shortly after the crash.

Vodry's family has expressed their grief over the loss, which comes just months after he survived a serious accident at Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

During that accident he went airborne after going over a hill and collided with another vehicle, The crazy moment  was captured on his GoPro camera.

Fortunately, he recovered from that crash with only minor injuries

Friends And Family Remember Josh Vodry

His former employer, Josh Kasnowicz, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Josh Vodry, telling Wood TV that it feels like losing a little brother.

Kasnowicz had a close friendship with Vodry's father, Glenn, who battled aggressive cancer years ago.

Before Glenn passed away, he asked Kasnowicz if he could spend his final days working on cars with his son at the shop.

After Glenn's death, Vodry continued to work at Kaz Transmissions, where he found comfort in the place that had been meaningful to his father.

Even after selling the shop, They shared memorable experiences, including a trip to Moab, Utah, where Vodry scattered his father's ashes and created a memorial in his honor.
