
Lions Cook the Bengals: Detroit Nabs Fourth Straight, 37–24
Detroit went into Cincinnati and handled business, securing a 37-24 win for the team, which marks their fourth straight victory. The team played like they knew exactly what a team should be, too.
How Detroit Set the Tone Early
An opening drive capped by Jared Goff, zipping a 10-yard touchdown to Sam LaPorta, started it all. From there, the defense turned into a takeaway machine, and the offense kept cashing it in.
Jake Browning's second-quarter pass, was snatched by Amik Robertson, and Ben Johnson also dipped into the bag. David Montgomery took a handoff and had a 3-yard touchdown to Brock Wright for 14-0.

Kerby Joseph added another pick before the half, going into the locker room with 14-3.
Key Plays That Broke the Game Open
Alex Anzalone jumped a route for the Lions' third interception after the break, leading the offense to pile on immediately. Goff to Jahmyr Gibbs for 20 yards and a 21-3 cushion. Montgomery muscled in from eight yards out to make it 28-3. Cincinnati made it to the fourth quarter with 17-28. But Detroit stopped any further lead. Goff found Isaac TeSlaa for the dagger, and the Lions even tacked on a safety for good measure.
The Final tally was 37-24.

The Lions head to Kansas City next fo Sunday Night Football. If you were expecting your "same old Lions" this year, you may be waiting for a while. Detroit won four straight in a row, and they earned every win, which was evident today.
