In the entire scope of the Upper Peninsula, it’s probably an impossible task to locate each and every mine and/or mine building.....but there are plenty, including some that haven’t been found yet and others that recently have.

The gallery below features images of an old U.P. mine building, sitting alone in the wilderness forest. Where exactly in the U.P. is it? Good question, as the person who found it has not disclosed the location.

Probably a good thing, in order to keep away trespassers...looking at some of the images taken inside, it looks like it could be a potentially dangerous place to infiltrate.

How so? There are some metal tunnels big enough to walk or crawl through, but one in particular eventually drops off in a 45-degree angle. It makes for a tempting explore, but there's a good possibility you’d never make it back up. The videographer was smart enough not to give it a try.

Although the location is not revealed, he does state that many years ago, there was a shaft collapse, trapping 150 miners – whose remains are believed to still be entombed.
