A Change is Coming to the Meridian Township Farmers’ Market
Convenience is a nice thing to have. Especially in this day and age. That's why grocery stores are excellent. You need batteries? They've got them. How about chicken and broccoli? Yeah, they've certainly got those too. Heck, if you're looking for a themed wall calendar, they probably have that too, especially at a later supermarket.
However, there's something about a farmer's market that just can't be beaten.
Lansing Farmer's Markets
Farmer's Markets have everything you need to have an amazing meal. The farmers offer all kinds of in-season produce, from potatoes to asparagus, carrots to tomatoes, and everything in between.
The butchers offer high-quality cuts of meat, the bakers have freshly-baked bread and pastries, and there are so many more artisans offering their wares. From local coffee shops, food trucks, and gardeners and their gorgeous bouquets, a farmer's market has just about anything you could need. Plus, you know exactly where your money is going. The best part is that it's staying right here in the community!
Meridian Township Farmers' Market
If you are in the Okemos area and/or you frequent the Meridian Township Farmers' Market, there's a change you should be aware of:
It's moving inside for the rest of the winter season.
Typically, you would find the farmers' market outside the Meridian Mall under the new pavilion area on the north side of the mall. Moving forward from now through March, the farmers' market will be located inside the Meridian Mall.

You can find it inside the mall by JC Penney's, Launch Trampoline Park, and H&M. Market Days will be on the first and third Saturdays of the month, per usual, from 10 am to 2 pm. Get more info in the Facebook post below.
