Michigan Diner Ranked One of America’s Best ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ Two Years Running

Truly, being featured on Triple D is no small task, and you are part of an elite group of eateries. Guy Fieri has trekked across the country in his red convertible for 39 seasons now, looking for the best of the best.

There are over 400 mouth watering episodes to feast your eyes on, meaning there are numerous places to sample. With that many restaurants to choose from, that's where Delish steps in.

Delish took a look at every diner, drive-in, and dive that Guy Fieri has stopped at in America, and they determined which one was the best for each state. Michigan was no exception.

Michigan Restaurants Featured on Triple D

Knowing that Guy Fieri has been to 16 different Michigan restaurants, it's not immediately obvious who the victor might be, especially considering he's stopped at some Lansing area restaurants more that once. In fact, Lansing is the Michigan city that Fieri has stopped by the most. However, that's not where you'll find Michigan's best Triple D restaurant. For that, you'll have to head to Ferndale.

Delish named The Fly Trap in Ferndale as Michigan's best of the diners, drive-ins, and dives that Guy Fieri has been to. This is the second year running that The Fly Trap has been given this honor.

The Fly Trap has an eclectic menu, with various offerings when it comes to brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. But, being a brunch girlie, I wanted to showcase one of the more delicious offerings I saw on their Instagram.

In my opinion, brunch isn't complete without something sweet, something savory, and a mimosa. This offering of huevos rancheros, a cinnamon roll, and a mimosa checked all three boxes.

While The Fly Trap has received the accolade of being the best of the Michigan Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, I think there are plenty of other Michigan restaurants that could give it a run for it's money.

You want to talk eclectic and delicious brunch offerings worthy of the Guy Fieri stamp of approval? Look no further than Good Truckin' Diner in Lansing. Along with their killer menu of everyday offerings, they also have weekly special, with both sweet and savory options.

Another spot that would be perfect for a Guy Fieri visit is Middleton Diner in Middleton. Patrons love the fresh, fried cod and the drool worthy pies.
