Winter in Michigan is a very special time of year. Yes, it's colder and a bit tougher to get through than some of the milder seasons. However, there are some activities that make Michigan a little more magical this time of year. One of those activities is sledding!
Why Sledding is Michigan Winter Fun
Sledding is one of those Michigan winter activities that doesn't require too much knowledge or skill to take part in it. I'll tell you; I don't know how to ski or snowboard, but I can sure as heck fly down a snowy hill.
Sledding requires that you have a snowy hill and something slippery to slide down on. That could be an actual sled, but it could also just be a flattened cardboard box.
