Silver Bells in the City

Lansing's 38th annual Silver Bells in the City event is scheduled for Friday evening (11/18) from 5pm-9pm. It's the city's official kickoff to the holiday season, featuring Christmas shopping with downtown merchants, festive refreshments and a parade featuring millions of Christmas lights (not to mention an appearance from Santa)! Text "silverbells" to 888777 to receive weather, traffic and/or emergency alerts about Silver Bells in the City.


 

North Pole Express

The Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso fires up the North Pole Express beginning this weekend. It's a four and a half hour train ride to and from the Village of Ashley Country Christmas celebration in Gratiot County. Organizers invite you to "put on your favorite pajamas or 1940s/50s attire and join us for a nostalgic journey to the Christmas of yesteryear". Multiple trips are planned every weekend through December 18.

5th Annual ICFF Turkey Trot Open Horse Show 2022

The 5th Annual ICFF Turkey Trot Open Horse Show is slated for Saturday (11/19) and Sunday (11/20) at the Michigan State University Pavilion. Trainers and farms from all over the state will be showing their horses at this judged event, which doubles as a fundraiser for the youth of Ingham County.
