A Lansing area non-profit organization had something horrible happen to their new home, and now they're asking for help.

Constellation Cat Café set up shop in East Lansing at 3320 E Lake Lansing Road five years ago now. Just like the name suggests, there are cats and it a café. You can go and enjoy a beverage, play with the cats, and you can even adopt them too.

Constellation Cat Café is celebrating its 5th birthday. But sadly, in the midst of what should be happy times for them, they are facing hardship.

Posted on their social media, Constellation Cat Café shared that their future home, located at the old Su Casa Jewelers in Old Town, had been involved in a traffic accident.

You read that right. The building that will eventually be their new home suffered some damage in a traffic accident when a vehicle left the road and struck their building.

Here's the most important thing; everyone is safe.

However, this is a huge set back for this non-profit organization.
