Popular Hot Chicken Chain Hangry Joe's Is Coming to East Lansing

The food scene for Greater Lansing has seen a lot of change this year. Although sadly, we've seen a dozen places close their doors, we've also seen over two dozen places open during that same time.

Not to mention, we have about a dozen new places still set to open this year.

Now, it seems we have another restaurant opening to add to the list.

Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings is a fast-casual eatery that specializes in Nashville hot chicken multiple ways: sandwiches, wraps, fingers, wings, salads, chicken & waffles and more.

When and Where is Hangry Joe's Opening in East Lansing?

Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings already has signage up at its soon-to-be location: 551 East Grand River Avenue in East Lansing. It's taking over the former location of Poké Fresh.

Don't worry, Poké Fresh didn't close, it just moved. Poké Fresh is still in East Lansing, but it has simply moved down the alley into the former University Weiner location.

While signage is up getting East Lansing ready for the opening, there is no official word on when it will open.

In the meantime, if you really would like to give Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings a try, there are three other locations in Michigan:

41439 Michigan Ave, Canton Township
29515 Plymouth Rd, Livonia
2457 W Hill Rd, Flint

We’ll keep an eye out for an official opening date for the East Lansing location.
