13 Lansing Restaurants That Have Closed Over the Years That Locals Miss
I have lived in Lansing for over a decade, now. And while that may not seem like a long time, so much has changed. I've seen plenty of businesses and restaurants close their doors throughout the years, many of them never to open again.
Lansing Area Restaurants That Have Closed Over the Years
Most recently, Reno's East in East Lansing closed after over 30 years in business.
Places like Reno's East, and so many others, hold a special place in so many people's hearts. For the patrons of Reno's East, MSU game days will definitely look different.

One restaurant that was around when I first came to town was Theio's. Theio's was this greasy spoon that was open 24 hours and offered breakfast all day. And seeing as how I was in my early 20s working a job on MSU's campus that kept me up until 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning, Theio's was always there for me. I have many fond memories of that place, and I know I'm not the only one.
It's places like Reno's East and Theio's, and feelings like those that many Lansing locals feel about a multitude of restaurants that have since shuttered.
If there's a certain restaurant you remember, take a walk through yesteryear and see if they made this list.
