Horrocks Farm Market Coffeehouse - Delta Township

This opened inside the coffee section of Horrocks in early July.

Nuts and Bolts Café & Bar - Aurelius Township

This café and bar opened inside Darrell's Market & Hardware. The grand opening was August 19.

The Willow Where Our Roots Began - Delta Township

This boutique café opened on July 2.

Restaurants That Closed in Lansing, July–September 2025

Papa John's Pizza - Lansing

Spagnuolo's - Okemos

This Italian restaurant closed on July 2 after 34 years in business.

Starbucks - East Lansing

The very first Starbucks location in East Lansing closed its doors after 26 years.

Sweet Encounter Bakery* - Downtown Lansing

While the bakery is still open, and customers can place orders online, the bakery has stopped serving walk-in foot traffic. That change happened on August 2.

Tantay - Okemos

While temporarily closed throughout the summer, Tantay officially closed its doors permanently at the end of September.

Z!Eats (formerly Zoup!) - Downtown Lansing

This eatery closed abruptly in late July. Now, another local cafe and bakery has taken over that space.
