Sweet Custom Jewelry in Old Town Lansing Celebrates 10 Years
Something sweet is going on in Old Town.
Lansing Business Celebrating 10 Year Anniversary
Sweet Custom Jewelry in Old Town Lansing is celebrating a huge milestone: 10 years in business!
For the last decade, Sweet Custom Jewelry has been serving the greater Lansing community with amazing service and jewelry. And to celebrate their 10th anniversary, the owners have three days of festivities planned.
Three Days of Sweet Celebrations
If you'd like to join in on the fun, here's what's planned and when:
- Thursday, October 16 at 3 pm - Festivities kick off with a ribbon cutting with Mayor Andy Schor, followed by a VIP reception from 5 - 8 pm. Local treats, beverages, and in-store specials will be available during the reception.
- Friday, October 17, all day - It's a "Social & Shop", where all day there will be light bites, community shopping, and exclusive specials.
- Saturday, October 18, 10 am - 3 pm - Sweet Custom Jewelry is hosting their first ever Diamond Dig Fundraiser. Guests can purchase a bucket in advance. The bucket is filled with sand that you sift through to find treasure. There will be gemstones, jewelry, and even diamonds! Plus, all the proceeds go to benefit the Capital Area Humane Society.
If you're a fan of Sweet Custom Jewelry, this is a great opportunity to check out their brand new space. They are still in Old Town, newly located at the nearly-century-old, former bank at 226 E. Cesar E. Chavez.

I'm a personal fan of Sweet Custom Jewelry, they have such a cool variety of offerings, from permanent jewelry to engagement rings to vintage pieces. Plus, just like the name says, they do custom pieces of jewelry all the time. Check out their social media of #TransformationTuesday, where they show jewelry that's been brought in by customers and how they've transformed it into a brand new piece.

At the very least, you can buy a bucket of sand to dig through and pretend like you're an archaeologist—win, win.
