Bath's own Sadie Bass headlines the entertainment at Oktoberfest, this Saturday (10/22) from 2pm to 10pm at Block 36 on Coleman Road in East Lansing. Bass is currently a contestant on this season of NBC's "The Voice". The Kathy Ford Band will also perform, and food trucks and a beer tent will be available too.


Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village

The Henry Ford in Dearborn hosts Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village this weekend and next (10/20 through 10/23, and 10/27 through 10/30). Costumed characters will greet visitors, with skits and "newly imagined storybook experiences" sprinkled throughout.the village. Special lighting and sound effects add to the Halloween mystique.

A "How-to Halloween" is what you get when you mix equal parts Maker Faire, Comic Con, Craft Show, Science Museum, Music Festival and Halloween Carnival.
