A New Lansing Restaurant is Just Opened

More than 35 restaurants have opened in 2025—and the list keeps growing.

The newest addition to the opening list is Savvy Sliders.

Savvy Sliders Expands in Mid-Michigan

Savvy Sliders opened its second area location in Downtown East Lansing. It's on Ann Street near M.A.C. Avenue, right next door to El Azteco.

The grand opening and official ribbon cutting was on September 30.

Savvy Sliders serves up an array of sliders, from the classic hamburger and cheeseburger sliders, to more creative bites like spicy falafel sliders and breakfast sliders with eggs and bacon.

Also on the menu at Savvy Sliders is chicken tenders, fries, cheese curds, onion rings, and custard shakes.

We first learned that Savvy Sliders was coming to East Lansing back in March of this year. And at that time we also learned that another eatery, Fat Boy's Pizza, would also be coming to East Lansing. Fat Boy's isn't open yet, but you can tell that work is being done; we'll keep you updated when it does open.

As for Savvy Sliders, this is the second one in the area. The first location opened on Okemos Road near Jolly Road and I-96.
