Lansing’s New Taco Shawarma Restaurant Is Already Selling Out

If you were chomping at the bit for this new Lansing restaurant to open its doors, you didn't have to wait too long. Taco Shawarma is now open on Lansing's South side!

A New Restaurant Has Arrived on Lansing’s South Side

Lansing Foodies first discovered Taco Shawarma near the end of June when new signage went up at the former Mr. Taco. I say new signage because previously there was signage for a different anticipated restaurant: Aladdin's Express.

Now, Taco Shawarma has opened its doors instead, and Lansing is lining up for this new restaurant! In fact, they've been so busy in the first couple of days in their soft opening that they've sold out of food.

If you follow them on their Facebook page, they've profusely apologized for running out of food and are working hard to make sure they are ready to go at 100% when they have their grand opening.

What’s on the Taco Shawarma Menu?

If you're curious about whether they serve tacos or shawarma, the answer is yes. They serve a variety of tacos, burritos, rice and beans while also serving items like grape leaves, baba ganoush, falafel, and yes... chicken shawarma.

The soft opening for Taco Shawarma took place on July 7. At this time, there's no word on when they officially open.
