As is the way of life, change is inevitable. And that means that we will see restaurants come and go over the years. In recent years, one restaurant chain has closed multiple locations, now leaving it with just three across Michigan.
You're probably familiar with this brand, whether you've sampled their famous wings or not...
Hooters.
Hooters first began in 1983, and at one point, it boasted more than 400 locations in more than 25 countries. Since then, location after location has closed its doors.

In Michigan, we saw the Grand Rapids location close in 2012. Next up was the Lansing location in 2019, which had been open for 18 years, as well as the Bay City location. Most recent to close its doors was the Roseville location.
The Location of the Last Three Hooters Restaurants in Michigan
If you really want to sink your teeth into those world famous wings, there are exactly three locations left in Michigan;

- Saginaw - 5538 Bay Road
- Taylor - 21250 Eureka Road
Hooters isn't the only restaurant chain to close locations in recent years. Many businesses have felt the after effects of Covid, and places BD's Mongolian Grill, Rite Aid, Rue21, and more have closed locations.
