10 Michigan Concerts You Shouldn’t Miss This October

The first full month of fall brings a veritable cornucopia of concerts to the Mitten State with several can't-miss shows, ranging from relative newbies to certified legends.

Here are our Top 10 concert picks for Michigan this October.

10. Neon Trees

Neon Trees made a huge splash in 2010 and 2011 with the platinum singles "Animal" and "Everybody Talks". The band makes its way to Elevation in Grand Rapids on October 21.

9. Little Big Town

Country quartet Little Big Town brings its impeccable harmonies to Battle Creek this October. Look for them at FireKeepers Casino on the 4th.

8. The Lumineers

Speaking of impeccable harmonies — how about The Lumineers? They kick off the month with an October 1 show at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.

7. Mumford & Sons

2012's "I Will Wait" has been Mumford & Sons' biggest chart success in the U.S. to date, but the English band continues to enjoy a cult following. They'll be at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on October 20.

6. Tate McRae

Canada's Tate McRae has enjoyed a banner 2025, topping the U.S. charts for the first time in her career thanks to the Morgan Wallen duet "What I Want". She performs at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on October 22.

5. Starship & Foghat

Two legendary rock bands hit the stage at Dow Event Center in Saginaw on October 11 — Starship and Foghat.

4. Alice Cooper & Judas Priest

October 2 marks a homecoming of sorts for Alice Cooper, as the Detroit native plays down the road at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston. He'll share the stage that night with heavy metal's Judas Priest.

3. David Byrne

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer David Byrne of the Talking Heads appears October 25 at Fox Theatre in Detroit.

2. Eric Church

Michiganders have two chances to catch Eric Church on his "Free the Machine" Tour this October — on the 2nd at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and on the 10th at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.

1. Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks had expected to visit Detroit earlier this year, but was forced to postpone the date after suffering a fractured shoulder. She's rescheduled for October 28 at Little Caesars Arena.
