My Unpopular Michigan Food Opinions
As a Michigander, I come predisposed to liking certain Michigan-made things.
Better Made potato chips, Rock & Rye Faygo, cherry season in Traverse City, and just about anything off the menu at a Coney Island.
And while I'd like to think I like some pretty awesome Michigan stuff, I will fully admit to having some unpopular Michigan food opinions as well. I mean, there's always going to be the rivalry between Detroit and Flint-style chili, but there's obviously a clear winner—Detroit-style.
Michigan Food Opinions
I know I can't be the only person who thinks certain Michigan foods are overrated. Check out the list below and see if you agree with me.

Pasties are Better With Ketchup
Some places would have you think that the brown, gelatinous "sauce" they serve is gravy. No thanks, I'll stick with ketchup.

Vernors is Medicine
Maybe this opinion isn't so hated, but I still think it's true. Perhaps it's the nostalgia or the ginger, but either way, it definitely helps my tummy feel better.

Between the olives, beets, and pepperoncini, it's going to be a no from me dog.
