Duke's Saloon in Downtown Lansing has been closed for some time now. What would Lansing like to see in it's place?

I was dancing at my sister's wedding the other day, and it got me thinking about Duke's Saloon. I liked going to Duke's. When I wanted a good mix of music to dance to (and not have to go into East Lansing and feel like I'm dancing amongst a crowd of preschoolers) we headed to Duke's.

In fact, I was super said because quite literally the thing I said I wanted to do for my birthday was to go dancing at Duke's, and it closed in February 2024, a few weeks before my birthday. But I digress...

Well clearly, if I had my way, I would say Duke's should open back up for music, drinks, and dancing. But, that must not have been cutting it. So, what should Duke's Saloon become instead?

What Should Duke's Saloon in Downtown Lansing Become?

I've heard rumbling on the street that people would love a spot to open up for line dancing. Now, I'm not opposed to that either.

Since the closing of Green Dot Stables, formerly The Junction, and the closing of Tequila Cowboy long before that, Lansing is without a place dedicated to line dancing.
